Lore

The world's creators have no describable form; they are probably divine tools. But their historical appearance with apocalyptic features earned them the name of Calamities. Their work — as much creative as destructive — complete, the Calamities reside in the Abyss where, dormant, they separate the material world from the dream world. The Sovereign of Flames is a gigantic creature of serpentine form, similar to the Ignatius. In Hadeïr, the Eltherians hold it responsible for the Fire's corruption.
