Lore

In Elther, it's normal to be afraid to sleep, as the slightest dream or nightmare can change an entire life. These dreamlike depictions are haunted by various premonitory apparitions. The Emissary of Nightmares is a powerful saving creature. It appears on the most dreadful and deadly nights. It saves sleepers from an otherwise inevitable death. Often accompanied by a message, the creature introduces itself as Squall.
