Death does not exist in Elther. In the Abyss, the dreams and nightmares of the Awakened mingle to purge damned souls: dreams shape new souls, while nightmares cleanse them of their regrets. Not every creature accepts this system. The Regent of the Abyss is a powerful member of the Logidrake family, serpentine abominations capable of commanding hordes of Abyssals. They wreak havoc across the world with alarming coordination. This one was sighted south of Shal’Zaar and appears to be responsible for the Abyssals that have risen to the Surface.
